As we reach half way through the season, York's league teams are well placed for the season run in
Yorkshire League
It's tight at the top of division one with Sheffield one point ahead of York A and Hull. The crunch game with Sheffield will take place in April that may be the title decider. York B are well placed in 5th in division one.
In division 2 newly promoted York D are mid table, which is a good return on their first season in division 2. York C are 8th out of 10 and need to make sure they get a few wins to avoid the drop
The new York E side are finding their first season hard work in division 3, but it's proving to be a good development environment for the future.
York and District League
Kings are mid table in division 1 after a draw with table toppers Eagle and Child A and a 6-0 demolition of Eagle and Child B.
In division 2, Chessnuts are one point behind the university with a game in hand. The title will probably be between these two sides.
Super knights are in 4th, but 4 points adrift of Chessnuts and bad bishops in their inaugural season are mid table.
